Swimming Chiefs Booster Club
Thank you to all of our
families who were able to join us at our meeting last week!
If you were unable to attend, there are still MANY
opportunities for volunteers. We need everyone’s help is
supporting the many activities we have going on through-out
the season – Pasta Parties, County Meet luncheon,
Newsletter, Water sales, Snacks, Taking pictures – just to
name a few.
We
still need volunteers to coordinate the Newsletter and the
end of the year video. These are two very important
activities that everyone looks forward to, especially the
swimmers. The video is one of the many highlights at our
end of year Awards dinner.
The County Meet
luncheon is always appreciated by the swimmers. For those
new to the team, the swimmers leave for the meet very early
in the morning, usually around 6:30. When
team returns to JCHS at approximately 2:00 PM, lunch is
waiting for them. Volunteers, if attending the meet, would
leave before the conclusion to set up and receive sandwiches
from Blimpies in the JCHS cafeteria before the bus returns
with the team. This lunch is paid for by the volunteers,
just as a pasta party.
We also need a way to communicate with
the Swim Team families throughout the season. If you were
not at the parents’ meeting, please send an email, including
your phone number, to
adelosh@comcast.net
so that we can be sure we have your correct contact
information.
Please contact one of us if you would like to help us fill
one of the many openings so that we can give the team the
great support they’ve always had!
